We have been given the ministry of reconciliation through song.

Singer/songwriter Dr. Wiljeana Jackson Glover carries a sound that eases the mind and lyrics that ignite the soul. Heavily influenced by her Christian and Georgia roots, she sang at many churches as a child and had the privilege to work at the Albany Civil Rights Museum as a teenager and sing alongside the Freedom Singers, an influential force in the Civil Rights Movement. Wiljeana also served as assistant director of the Dougherty High School Chorale under the direction of composer, Dr. Mark Butler.

As a math and industrial engineering major, Wiljeana remained active in music throughout college. She performed in Spain and Portugal as a member of the Albany State University Concert Chorale, performed with the Georgia Tech Concert Chorale, and sang with Nikki Giovanni at an Evening of Spirituals and Poetry during her graduate studies at Virginia Tech.

In Boston, Wiljeana served as assistant director of the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College under the direction of composer Sheldon Reid. She’s been fortunate to sing background vocals for Angelique Kidjo, Nichelle Mungo, Tawanna Johnson, and Tolieth Marks.

Wiljeana recently served as the Director of Worship and Arts at Pentecostal Tabernacle in Cambridge, MA and co-produced the worship team’s first EP, Coming In to Worship You, in October 2017.

She is excited to share Horses, infused with gospel, soul, and country, as her debut single. She looks forward to an EP release later in 2021.

She is the wife of Dr. Marshaun Glover and mother to two incredible children, Lizzy and BJ.
